  1. Josephine, thank you for the books. i got so stuck on the internet sources and articles that I never thought about books as a resource, as sad as that is. Thank you for the reminder and for the book titles. the thinkning teacher and the diverse world are two that I am going to have to get for myself.

  2. Josephine,
I like that that you included Community Playthings as a resource. This company has wonderful items for the early childhood classroom.

    1. Lori,
I think Community Playthings web site is a great resource. Their classroom designs can be helpful to teachers entering a new classroom.

  3. Hi Josephine,
I read the book "Teaching and Learning in a Diverse World" by Patricia Ramsey. The book is a must read. It talks about making the classroom an inclusive environment for all children and families, and why as educators it is important for us to look at children and families with unbiased views. This book will really shape and reform your thinking as an educator. It makes you do a lot of self-reflecting.

  4. Hi Josephine I would like to read The Thinking Teacher as well. I have had a few professors in the past to make reference to this text, and the points that they brought out from it were really good.
